Meet Darth Vaderand the stormtroopers,at a special "Star Wars" day at the library - fans of all ages are invited. The Doodle Dude (Art Kaney of the Middletown Arts Center)will draw caricatures of young fans, Logan Adams has created a Lego display in the lobby, we'll have lots of Star Wars books and other sci-fi materials on display and available to borrow, and we'll even have light refreshments. Kids - come in costume and bring your own camera if you'd like your picture taken with Darth Vader or a stormtrooper.
We'll be collecting canned and dry goods at the door for the Food Bank

Marina Horak lives and works in Slovenia, and has played to international acclaim around the world. In 2008, she was awarded the Slovene Music Artists Association's highest honor, the Betteto Prize, at a ceremony attended by that country's president and first lady.
Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 pm she'll present a concert of works by Schubert and Chopin right here at Middletown Township Public Library, as part of the Library Foundation/ Monmouth Conservatory of Music sponsored "Music for a Wednesday Evening" series.
