Do you love Jane Austen novels and movie adaptations? Come watch the wonderful adaptation of Emma in this new Youtube Webseries, Emma Approved. We will watch a couple of episodes each meeting, have some snacks, and compare it to the book. Even if you haven't read the book, you can still enjoy the webseries! Learn to play the guitar with Andres. Bring your own acoustic guitar with you to class. You must register for this program. For teens and tweens going into 4th-12th grade.

SAT/PSAT/ACT Practice Exams
Take a free practice test at the library in the computer lab, administered by a Kaplan representative. To sign up, you must register through Kaplan here. Please bring a calculator and #2 pencils wth you. Your test results will be mailed to you following the exam by Kaplan. For more information and test dates, go to the College and Career page. Upcoming test dates are:
SAT: Saturday, August 2nd from 9:30 am-2:00 pm
PSAT: Saturday, August 16th from 9:30 am - 12 pm
Teen Driver Safety
When: Thursday, September 25th at 7 pm
Where: Community Room
Carsten Boethig, a retired NJ State Trooper, will be presenting this program on driver safety for teens. Topics covered include distracted driving, world examples of the consequences of unsafe driving, and an overview of the NJ motor vehicle laws. This is a great program for teens taking the driver's exam and for teens who have newly received their permits and licenses. Sign up here.
Teen Gaming Night
When: Monday, August 25th at 7pm
Where: Computer Lab
Bring your MAGIC cards, your Vanguard, your Yu-gi-oh (or whatever other card games you enjoy), yourself, and your friends to play with other teens who enjoy gaming. Feel free to bring any other games you enjoy, be it cards, board games, or computer games (and if so, bring your own device). We will have some board games available for playing too. Essentially, if you like any kind of gaming...come to Teen Gaming Night!!!!
Teen Movie Night
When: Monday, August 11th at 7 pm
Watch Divergent on the big screen at the library!! There will also be popcorn! Movie title is subject to change depending on availability. Our backup movie will be The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Turning the Tides for Teens
When: Mondays at 3:30 pm
Dates: September 8th through October 13th
Join Patricia and Kim from the Barnabas Health Institute of Prevention in this 6 week session to increase personal strength and resilience. Have group and individual discussions and take part in games and activities to help with managing stress, increasing self-confidence, building friendships, managing strong emotions, and problem solving. You may come to any or all of the sessions, it is up to you! If you plan on attending, you may sign up here. Drop-ins are also very welcome!
