Join a Summer Reading Program at the Middletown Township Public Library!

We have a program for anyone of any age!

1000kb4k.jpgFor children ages 0-5: 1000 Books Before Kindergarten: This is a year-round program at the library for young children. The goal is for parents to read their children 1000 books before they enter kindergarten. This year, we are having extra special summer prizes and raffles for our young participants. Sign up now!


LogoFor children entering grades K-5: Children's Summer Reading Program 'Build a Better World': The goal is for children to read for 1000 minutes over the summer. For each reading milestone children achieve, they will earn a prize. Children can also enter our weekly raffles, and complete additional reading challenges. If children read 1000 minutes, they will get a free book and a raffle ticket for our grand prize: Family 5 pack of Seastreak Ferry round trip passes to NYC and tickets to the Museum of Natural History, donated generously by Seastreak Ferry and The Friends of the Library. Image result for build a better worldFor teens entering grades 6-12: Teen Summer Reading Program 'Build a Better World': The goal is for teens to read 5 books over the summer. For each book you read, you will earn a prize. Enter weekly raffles for the chance to earn one of our amazing raffle prizes, and complete our additional reading challenges for extra chances to win. This year's extra reading challenges encourage you to help out in your community and environment, to truly 'Build a Better World' over the summer. If you read 5 books, you will get a free book and a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of our grand prizes: A $50 Amazon Gift Card or 4 round-trip Seastreak Ferry ticket to NYC and 4 tickets to the Museum of Natural History, donated generously by Seastreak Ferry and The Friends of the Library.  Sign up now!
