Science Fiction Book and Movie Discussion
Second Thursday
5:30PM – 9PM
The Science Fiction Book and Movie Discussion Group will view "Colossus: The Forbin Project" (1970) inspired by "Colossus" by Dennis Felthan Jones, followed by discussion of the movie and book. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 5:30. All are welcome.
Location: Computer Lab
Teens and tweens, ages 11+, are welcome to come to our patio for some live music and refreshments. Music is provded by some very talented teens from the Rock It! group from Count Basie Theater. If the weather is inclement or too hot, we'll move it indoors to the community room.
Teens and tweens, ages 11 and up, are invited to our teen cafe with live music provided by talented teens and tweens from Count Basie's Rock It! Program. Enjoy some light refreshments while listening to some awesome music. This event will be on the library patio. In case of super hot or rainy weather, the cafe will be held in our community room.
