Reading is a Family Affair…at the Middletown Public Library: Friday,  Aug.12th 6-7:30pm

 

 

We’ll start the evening with a pizza dinner and then discuss the book, Frindle by Andrew Clements. Registration req’d @ the Children’s Services Desk.      

Books can be picked up at the Borrower Services Desk  beginning July 5thOne per family.

Come to the Gadget Expo on July 5th at 6:30pm. Staff from the library and staff from Best Buy will be on hand to answer all your questions. Please note that all Branch storytimes will be held on Friday mornings. Ages 2-5 with parent/caregiver. Early literacy fun is not limited to the Main Library. The Bayshore, Lincroft and Navesink Branches each hold a weekly storytime featuring picture books and a craft. Branch storytimes are an opportunity to join your neighbors in sharing the joy of reading.

July Art Reception: The Viewfinder, photographs by Debora S. Bruno. Debora Santiago Bruno appreciates art in general styles. Her love for photography is one of the most important aspects of her life. Her work includes portrait, still life, nature, scenery, black and white, infared and more, although landscapes and architecture subjects are her favorites. When she is shooting these elements, she tries to capture the best quality of light as possible to produce a result that is remarkable. The exhibit runs from 6/29 through 7/30.
