Learn simple and effective ways to cope with stress. Take our free stress assessment to determine your level of stress. We will have staff members from Meridian Health here to do free health screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and BMI) from 6-7pm, followed by a lecture from 7-8pm.

The IEEE NJ Coast Section presents an Overview of the EZPass System with Mr. Srinvas Pentapalli. This presentation will explain the EZPass electronic toll-collection system used on most tolled roads, bridges and tunnels, as well as types of accounts and some benefits of the system.

Please note that all Branch storytimes will be held on Friday mornings. Ages 2-5 with parent/caregiver. Early literacy fun is not limited to the Main Library. The Bayshore, Lincroft and Navesink Branches each hold a weekly storytime featuring picture books and a craft. Branch storytimes are an opportunity to join your neighbors in sharing the joy of reading.

Saturday, June 4th from 2:30-4:00 in the community room three-time author Rebecca Weinstein will read from “Nashoga: Book 1 of the Redstone Series”—a young adult novel that chronicles the adventures of an alpha wolf deposed from his pack. She will also discuss the prevalence of the wolf theme in her book and in the manga genre. Refreshments and prizes. The manga club will meet from 1-2:30pm to do window painting in the teen zone.

Book talk and discussion led by local author Rebecca Weinstein. Ms. Weinstein will read from her newest eBook, Nashoga. The first 10 attendees will receive a free copy of the eBook and a signed poster.Attendees with proof-of-purchase of the eBook will receive a signed poster and be entered into a drawing for a special prize pack. This program will be held in the community room and all are welcome. Light refreshments.


Prior to the event from 1-2:30, Ms. Weinstein, who is also an art teacher at Mater Dei Prep, will be assisting the manga club in the mural painting on the teen zone window. All welcome.
