Teens and tweens are welcome to come to the teen zone for Steal Bingo. It's regular bingo with prizes that are wrapped. As each one is won, they are unwrapped for all to see. Teens and tweens interested in discussing fiction books can come to the teen zone on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 2-3:00. This month's pick is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Currently, this is a very small group but we are hoping to build it so that we might be able to do some author visits, both virtual via SKYPE and in-person as well as book/movie nights (with pizza). Interested teens may pick up a copy of the book in the teen zone and may e-mail teen librarian Ellie Strbo at estrbo@mtpl.org. |
