              Sometimes there's a bright spot in an otherwise bad day.  And, when it comes unexpected, that's even better. 


At the February meeting of the Library Board,  Darrel Golden came to the podium and read a letter from his company, Automated Building Controls.  The Golden family, as some might know, have resided in Middletown for over 200 years.  Darrel lives with his family in Navesink, and now works at the company founded by his father, Fred.  His letter was to tell the library board that, in the spirit of community volunteerism, his firm would be donating their services to the Navesink Branch to maintain its heating and cooling system for 2011
